Ask the supplier to state the finished thickness and construction, not only the fiber name. Two webbings described as polyester can behave differently because of yarn, weave, finish and backing.
Choose hooks and connecting hardware
Common options include zinc-alloy swivel hooks, stainless-steel hooks, aluminum carabiners and specialty locking hooks. Compare opening size, gate action, swivel movement, weight, finish, corrosion expectations and compatibility with the intended collar or harness ring.
